As you already know the City of Yes Housing has passed. Below are the city council people who stood with the people and voted no to the measure.

We want to personally thank our own City Council person Darlene Mealy who voted against this plan and who also informed her community about the City of Yes.

We also want to praise City Council Christopher Marte, the only Manhattan City Council member to vote against the City of Yes.

Instead of writing a detailed description about the COY and its issues we have decided to just send you to the Villagestar where Councilman Marte did an excellent job of summarizing the issues around the City of Yes Housing. It includes hidden changes that will negatively affect us and the role the media played in not properly informing the public. Please read his review.
