Not only because<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>she denied our Temporary Restraining Order<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>which the Appellate Division 2nd Department overturned but because of her previous conduct on our last filed case, against the City and the Developers regarding the Toxic Site located at 73-99 Empire Blvd.<\/p>\n<p>Several allegations were made against the Judge Lisa Lewis including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging in ex-parte communications with the City and Developers<\/li>\n<li>Preventing Petitioners from fully litigating the case<\/li>\n<li>Conducting the Court\u2019s business via email without court appearances<\/li>\n<li>Failing to make rulings on Petitioners\u2019 Motions and instead mooting them at the end of the case, while making rulings on Respondents\u2019 motion.<\/li>\n<li>Denying motions before they were every submitted for Court review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"yiv4411068866ml-rte-link-wrapper\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pjxejx.clicks.mlsend.com\/tl\/cl\/eyJ2Ijoie1wiYVwiOjUwMzI1MSxcImxcIjoxOTE2MjAzNjI5NjkwMjQwNTAsXCJyXCI6MTkxNjIwMzkxOTIxMjU2MTYxfSIsInMiOiIzM2M4MmMyYzE0MzE2NzZkIn0\">Please click on this link to read the motions or recusal.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Motion requesting Judge Lewis to recuse herself was granted<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>and we have been reassigned to<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Judge O\u2019Neal of the Brooklyn Supreme Court.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td height=\"20\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good News! \u00a0Motion Granted Update on Lawsuit Good News! -Update on Shelter Lawsuit Last week we\u00a0filed a Motion requesting that Judge Lisa Lewis Recuse herself from our Case.
